Duties and Responsibilities Of Home Care Givers That You Should Posses

Today, care giving is something that anyone can do to anybody but the problem is does this anybody give quality care. This is where you give your care for those who need it. To keep them independent and to have the quality you want. Care givers have many responsibilities and many of the caregivers now don't even know that they have already giving care for someone.
If you are providing support, physical or emotional support to an elderly, you are considering as one of our caregivers. Caregivers also getting prescriptions and them also take the elderly in their appointments with the doctors. Some of the caregivers help their senior with regards to paying bills.
As a professional Home Care Givers, this is not just an opportunity to earn money bit it may also expand your skills with a reward; this is a fulfilling profession that will enhance the life of a senior. Long Term Care givers give non-medical services to the seniors who allow them to stay at home with home helper services and to have a companionship.
MAS Home Care services include the assisting individuals, encouragement and stimulate. The primary duty or responsibility of the companionship includes:
1. Providing a good conversation and companionship
2. Providing assistance when walking and also stabilization
3. Do the preparation of the meal and the cleaning up afterwards
4. Providing reminders about their appointments and reminders about their medication
Some of the Duties & Responsibilities of Home Care Givers involves the light housekeeping, incidental transportation's or errands. But there are also Primary Duties & Responsibilities of Home Care Givers, this include the:
1. Light housekeeping chores such as the making beds, changing of linens, cleaning of the bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, vacuuming and many other light works.
2. Washing and ironing of the laundry.
3. Running errands.
4. Accompany the clients to their appointments.
Some other responsibilities might add with the list, but this depends on the situation, but remember that the most rewarding and important aspect as a care giving is to value the seniors life. You should recognize the important of education in supporting and preparing our clients. From the moment that you are hired as their caregivers, you must be equipped and ready to give your service to the seniors; you must give your best in serving them. But before you give hand any senior you will be having a training with your co caregivers, this training includes:
Communicating with seniors
Planning activities
Recognizing illnesses and depression
Safety, etc.
Once you're done with all the training you need, you can now serve your seniors with all your learning. Always remember that giving care is not as easy as other think, this job requires hard work, patient, and courage and love for the work you have. One you start loving your work, then that's the time that you can give your best to you seniors. Remember our seniors do not only need physical support rather they need both physical and mental support. You should be giving them both of it.
